First industrial Cluster in Solar Energy launched in Casablanca

Casablanca – The first industrial Cluster in Solar Energy “Solar Cluster” was launched Monday in Casablanca, in the presence of a number of government officials, personalities from the business and academic world, and Moroccan and foreign professionals. Created thanks to a partnership with professional associations and academic institutions of education and research, the Solar Cluster aims to complement the actions made as part of NOOR solar plan, and to deepen coordination among the stakeholders in order to foster the emergence of a competitive solar industrial sector in Morocco.Speaking on the occasion, CEO of the Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy (MASEN), Mustapha Bakkoury, stressed that the creation of this cluster is an important landmark on the path toward the development of renewable energy, mainly solar energy.
