Its work has focused on providing information, training and support to charities in England on Gift Aid, Payroll Giving, Gifts of Shares and Legacies, as well as the many other tax reliefs available to charities.The initiative’s microsite will continue to be maintained by the Institute, but the initiative’s helpline and email address will close at the end of March.Announcing the end of the initiative to Institute members, Project Manager Lee Grant commented that some of its tax-effective giving training courses would probably be provided through the Institute of Fundraising Academy.
